CSA Database 2026
Find the perfect CSA for you: Load up on goodies this year while supporting a local farm!
What is “CSA”?
CSA stands for “community supported agriculture” and is a farm production and marketing model where community members pay up front for a share in the upcoming harvest - essentially a farm subscription!
Buying in at the start of the season helps the farmer purchase inputs and guarantees them income. In return, you get fresh fruits, veggies, and other products through the growing season, directly from a local farmer.
Joining a CSA is an investment in a local farm, your health, and our food system.
How does it work?
While operations vary farm to farm, you will generally pay up front for a set number of weeks. Each week, you will pick up a box of preselected goods. Pick up locations can include farmers’ markets, porches, and other predetermined business locations.
Many farms allow payment plans, offer smaller shares (in item quantity, or every other week), and some provide the option to select your own items online. Some also accommodate skipped weeks. Read farms’ websites for more information about their specific program.
What is the database?
Information about CSAs can be tricky to find, so we did the work for you.
This database is a non-exhaustive list of CSA opportunities in and around Chatham, Durham, and Orange Counties.
Click on a farm to see more information about them, their growing practices, the share(s) they are offering this year, price estimates, and a link to their sign up.
Use the buttons at the top of the database to sort by share type, pick up location, and price.
Food Equity Collaborative does not manage, or receive compensation from, any CSA listed here. This is only an informational resource to help (and encourage!) you to find a farm to support this year. Information was manually gathered from farms’ websites and may not be accurate. Please refer to the farms’ website to confirm information listed here, for more details about their program, and to sign up. Any questions about a specific CSA should be directed to the farm.
If you are a farmer and would like to be added to, removed from, or edit your information in this database, email tori@foodequitycollaborative.org.
