Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program
The NC Seniors Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) is a summer-only program that provides vouchers in participating counties to eligible lower-income older adults to purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, honey, and fresh cut herbs at NC SFMNP-certified farmers' markets. Benefits come as physical coupons or vouchers.

To be eligible for Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition program (SFMNP), you have to meet these requirements:
Be 60 years or older
Live in a county with a participating local agency
Have a household income of no more than 185% of the Federal Poverty Level

10-digit Phone Number
County You Live In
If you live in a participating county, your contact information will be shared with the local agency that handles SFMNP applications, eligibility screening, and voucher distribution. They will contact you with information about the program.
SFMNP vouchers are not guaranteed. Even if a person meets the eligibility requirements, there may not be enough funds for all eligible persons to receive SFMNP vouchers.

What can I purchase with SFMNP?
You can only purchase fruits and vegetables.

You cannot purchase baked goods, crafts, cooked foods, eggs, plants, or other non-food items.
